Permanent or semi-permanent makeup also called micropigmentation is the process of implanting colour pigment beneath the surface of the skin by means of a tiny, sterile, disposable needle to produce the appearance of cosmetic makeup or to enhance the natural feature of the face.
Properly applied by an experienced technician, permanent makeup will be more natural and realistic in appearance as compared to conventional cosmetics and can last up to 3 years.

FAQs
1. IS THE PROCEDURE SAFE?
The procedure is perfectly safe providing it is carried out by a highly trained, fully qualified person who adhers to all health and safety procedures and treatments within a clinical environment.
2. WILL IT HURT?
Pain thresholds vary but strong topical anaesthetic creams are applied before and during the procedure, most clients feel nothing or a slight sensation of pressure and some even fall asleep!
3. WILL IT LOOK NATURAL?
When permanent make up is done properly it will look natural yet perfectly groomed. Colour and shape will be discussed and decided during a consultation, prior to the procedure.
4. HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?
All procedures take two appointments, the first appointment when the treatment is carried out followed by a top up appointment 6 weeks later. Usually your brows will last 2-5 years dependent on your skin type but it is advised that there are regular top ups every 12 months.
5. WHAT IS THE RECOVERY PERIOD?
The treated area will look darker and more defined for up to a week. There may be slight swelling for a day or two but this is normal. For the first week the colour is more visible then the healing begins, we allow 6 weeks for full healing.
6. WHAT SHALL I DO BEFORE THE TREATMENT?
Prior to your procedure think about the look that you want to achieve. As experts in the field of colour analysis and makeovers, we ensure that the correct colour and style is chosen for you, however you are part of the decision-making process. Full instructions will be given during your consultation.
8. CAN I GET OTHER BROW TREATMENTS?
Waxing and threading treatments should be performed no less than 1 week prior to your procedure. IPL laser hair removal should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure. Electrolysis treatments should be performed no less than 2 weeks prior to your procedure. Eyebrow tinting should be performed no less than 4 weeks prior to your procedure. Botox in the brow region should be performed no less than 2 weeks pre procedure.
